We are a Bangalore based non-profit organization with a vision to build the
lives and character of the underprivileged and economically weaker sections
of the society in the city.

27 Years in Action

EMPACS was founded in 1992 by 50 members from the East Parade Malayalam Pastorate. The founders were motivated by the desire to be a caring community and to give back to the society in which they live by empowering the differently-abled and the underprivileged in their midst.

Ashraya Centre for Learning

Located at HBR Layout, Bangalore, Ashraya is a special education day school for differently abled children of the marginalised sections of the society from the surrounding areas. The school imparts specialised holistic education and cognitive skill development to 50 differently abled children in the age group of four to 18 years.

What we Do

Registered as a charitable society in 1992 under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act 1960, EMPACS runs two educational institutions that provide quality primary and special needs education, free of cost, to children from the economically weaker sections. Our goal is to enable the children to achieve their potential, lead fulfilling lives, and to build their lives on strong moral foundations.

CJM Study Centre

CJM Study Centre imparts quality English medium education, free of cost, to children from economically weaker sections of society, in and around Byappanahalli in Bangalore. CJMSC identifies and enhances the potential of each child, empowering them with knowledge and values to help free them from the shackles of illiteracy and economic deprivation. Currently 105 students from LKG to Level B of NIOS curriculum (equivalent to class 4) study at CJMSC
